Gladstone OnRecord fingerprint recognition technology simplifies attendance registration and eases the management of dinner money

Gladstone Education has pioneered the use of biometric fingerprint readers for use within the education sector bringing huge benefits to teachers, administrative staff, caterers and students. The significant reduction in cost of fingerprint technology in recent years makes this solution an affordable proposition for all schools.

Time-saving technology

The Gladstone OnRecord™ system uses pre-defined absence codes in accordance with government recommendations. Real-time reports are available with the absence codes on a web-based reporting utility. These reports show pupils' time of registering, session and lesson details at any time with instantaneous and accurate information. Authorised staff can pre-enter holidays and school visits as well as manually inserting unauthorised absences.

School meals can be ordered directly, accurately and on time. Catering staff are notified of the exact number of meals required for the day early in the morning. This is all done automatically through the use of the real-time reporting tools available from the registration system. What's more, the accounting for lunch money is automated so that when parents pay their money it is easily tracked in accordance with the number of meals purchased.
