About Identity Manager
OnRecord Identity Manager enables the school to simply and instantly provide students, teachers and support staff with access to internal resources. By allocating a single card from the OnRecord Identity Manager suite, each linked application will be allocated the same unique identifier, enabling the cardholder to access all applications immediately.
OnRecord Identity Manager is an effective way to manage access to extended facilities management solutions within the school environment, from cashless catering to library management and even locker access. The solution simply extracts core data directly from the Management Information System (MIS) in real time before enabling the site to allocate unique identities to each individual; making it a simple, scalable and fully integrated solution.
Why Identity Manager
At the heart of OnRecord Identity Manager is the Card Management System (CMS), a core function of OnRecord, meaning that all students can be issued with a single smartcard that carries their unique identity. This single card instantly allows or denies access to other facilities management solutions such as e-registration, cashless catering, access control and library management where Identity Manager integration is enabled.
Your Identity Manager
With a direct link between OnRecord and the MIS, any amendments to student information only needs to be entered once. For example, if a student starts taking free school meals halfway through a term, that one change in the MIS is automatically transferred to the cashless catering module by OnRecord Identity Manager.
If a card is lost or mislaid, it is a straightforward process to issue a replacement and cancel the old card. The updated card information is logged with OnRecord Identity Manager and this automatically updates all other facilities management solutions, making the card instantly useable. This simple process removes the need for manual updates, reducing both administration time and the possibility for human error.
